My main criticism of the story is that when Allison turns to alcohol to cope with her separation from Sam and a rejection from her son the issue is not dealt with realistically. Like many groups of boys then we called ourselves a gang. The second problem I had with the book is that the author apparently has no training in psychology or family therapyaccording to the author bio she teaches screenwriting. If you like CCS, you'll also like Fruits Basket. Wilson, who'd known the couple for decades, believed that Bayley had a lifelong bitter jealousy of his brilliant wife. And like the cult of home ownership which so dominated the American psyche until 2008, it will (unfortunately) be rank economics and fiscal realities that cause this terrible cult to come to a fatal end.
