This book is a beautifully illustrated collection of recipes that takes you on a culinary journey around the Far East. He continues to climb the sales charts with his April Almighty series, as well as his recent hits, "Hacked" and "Lady Cannibal. There were glimmers in the beginning that had me sooooo excited. I will give it 5 stars because the images are gorgeous. He struggles a little with even these recipes because he knows so little about cooking and the names of the more gourmet ingredients. Not that one precludes the other, but in the 18th Century Sodomites, as they were called, faced a death sentence if found out. Definitely not a book to escape in just yet, but I'm interested and will continue on with this title.
