. Amid all of our gadgets and other man-made distractions, many people forget to take notice of the sheer beauty of the natural world that still surrounds us. Even the stories that started out slowly and were hard to relate to for a while ended up being very interesting by their ends. I’m going to remember this little gem and come back to savor it now and then. They are clearly older stories, but Akutagawa is extremely talented at evoking emotion in the reader. Reflecting the tone and content of the actual test, this friendly workbook includes hundreds of hands-on exercises, scores of quizzes covering the terms and specifications you’ll need to memorize, and tons of troubleshooting “story problems” that require critical thinking and application of theory. What tips this book into the “read it” category for me are the children, Bella and Michael. This young lady knows and loves her bible. I was worried if I was going to be able to follow along with acronyms and procedures that would have to be researched to understand. If one can set aside modern concepts of behavior and Hemingway model sentence structure it is a rewarding read. But when Rycard finally has the dragon in his sights, he begins to question his decision. I hope more people read this book and give Road to Darkness a chance to shine.
