. awesome, good price, works great. LEAH GOLDBERG (1911-1970) was the author of nine collections of poetry, three plays, three novels, a memoir, literary criticism, children's stories, and translations of Ibsen, Petrarch, Shakespeare, Tolstoy, and other classical and modern poets and novelists. Didion is writing more for herself than for any reader, though I would add that what I used to think of as sarcasm now seems extremely holier-than-thou and so impressed with itself as to be off-putting to the max. The illustrations in the book are the originals done by Aubrey Beardsley and they are only in Salome. Porque todos sus libros son fenomenales. I wish, wish, wish I could give this five stars because I really like certain things about this book, things that I mentioned above, along with that it repeats each page so you have a chance to color each image twice. Complemented by easy-to use, reliable maps, helpful recommendations, authoritative background information, and up-to-date coverage of things to see and do, these popular travel guides cover in detail countries, regions, and cities around the world for travelers of every budget, along with extensive itineraries, maps with cross-referencing to the text, "Top 10" and "Top 5" lists, and other practical features. Some people would pay to get it spiral bound. Who knew that the British Empire almost fell because a significant percent of its population was constantly drunk on gin, or that the first NASCAR drivers were former moonshine runners, or that some people successfully decide what you will spend lots of money on and then create it.

Easy read. Well written. I felt connected to the main character and her feelings towards her biological mother and the events associating to this. Really enjoyed storyline taking place in Ireland....
