. I heartily recommend this book to any who are truly seeking to understand the Scriptures. He considers the body in the Foucauldian sense of society and its spaces and regimes enforcing discipline and docility, and also considers how our bodies are shaped by capital work hours, repetitive acts, the food we eat, the tobacco we smoke but interestingly, also discusses the body in terms of variable capital, Marx's terminology. It is very well organized. LauraLevineMysteries. All in all very informative. A bunch of memorable characters I'd like to see more of. Great story for women of all ages. There was absolutely no plot, villain, (fighting) action, or anything to make me care about this book.
