One thing I appreciate is the proofreading. This is another example of Jacques' marvelous ability to tell adventures. Temple Grandin, author of Animals Make Us Human“Animal Stars is an inspiring tapestry, with emotions interwoven into every picture and word. Not a great read aloud candidate. Information is power and Vincent has offered it in a non-judgmental manner, but always with truth and heart. Lots of multi syllable and Hispanic words, run-on sentences and convoluted double negative, sarcastic op-ed reporting. My appreciation towards these fantastic characters has been greatly enriched by their bold heart and courageous love. Overall this book is a great value covering a lot of ground with a colorful overview of "combat" aircraft in the beginning of the Second World War in the Pacific and Far East. They should be read on a beach, under an umbrella, with a cool drink in hand. It helps give the reader that mile in someone else's shoes. Its just a little advanced for me since I am just a beginner. Tying our past experiences to our present interactions with the environment, they enable us to recognize and understand new objects and events.
